A unique fundraising event for Shelter

Published on Tue Oct 19, 2010 by

I recently completed a photography commission for Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity in Liverpool city centre. It was for an event called "Vertical Rush" a unique running event up steps of a high-rise building - the Radio City Tower. The day was a great success, with 107 runners pounding up the 558 steps and the fastest time was achieved by Mark Sims in 03:07 minutes.

“Thanks so much for sending the photographs through – they’re great. And thanks again for your help on Sunday – it’s great to have the atmosphere of the day captured in the photos.” Gill, Event Manager, Shelter
